About
I'm in the Moving Image Studies track of the PhD program in the Department of Communication at Georgia State University, and I'll be finishing up my coursework this summer. I plan to take my comps in Fall 2009 and then start dissertating.
My research interests include such topics as post-humanism, visual culture, ecocriticism, and "trash" cinema. I'm from a small town in Iowa, and I have a strange obsession with dog shows, nature documentaries, and 80s action movies.
